Integrative medicine

Your clinical story
does not happen in parts.

A medical assessment connecting symptoms, history, context and tests to decide what deserves attention first.

Dr Patrick Welter, Medical Director of ETRYUM, at the clinic.

When each specialist sees one part,
someone must read the whole.

Integrative medicine may help when a clinical question needs a broader, coordinated view.

01

Your symptoms do not fit one box

Fatigue, digestive changes, disrupted sleep, pain or poor recovery may share context without having one single cause.

02

You have reports, but no direction

You have results, diagnoses or recommendations, yet nobody has organised them around a common priority.

03

You want to act earlier

You want to understand modifiable risks and make preventive decisions with medical judgement, rather than chase every isolated marker.

04

Life takes more out of you than you can recover

Work, training, rest and life transitions may be competing for a capacity that no longer replenishes in the same way.

Integration is not mixing.
It is deciding with context.

The consultation organises diverse clinical information and separates what matters from what does not.

  1. 01

    History

Background, progression, treatment and warning signs.

  2. 02

    Biology

Symptoms, function, metabolism and available biomarkers.

  3. 03

    Context

Sleep, nutrition, movement, stress and daily environment.

  4. 04

    Priority

What needs investigation, what can change and what should be followed.

The assessment

Understand first.
Intervene second.

Tests and treatments are not added by default. Every decision should answer a clinical question.

  1. 01

    Listen

Reconstruct the reason for attending, its progression and its real impact on your life.

  2. 02

    Review

Organise your history, medication, reports and results already available.

  3. 03

    Assess

Carry out the clinical and functional examination relevant to the case.

  4. 04

    Prioritise

Define problems, goals and next steps in a clear order.

  5. 05

    Coordinate

Connect professionals and review the response when the case requires it.

An ETRYUM clinician reviews clinical information beside a window in the clinic.

More information does not always mean more clarity. What matters is knowing which finding changes a decision.

The aim is not to accumulate tests, supplements or specialists. It is to build a proportionate, explainable and reviewable clinical direction.

A broad view.
Clear clinical boundaries.

These areas may form part of the assessment, according to your history and medical indication.

01

Metabolic health

Energy, body composition, glucose, lipids and lifestyle-related factors.

02

Cardiovascular health

History, blood pressure, overall risk and specific assessment when indicated.

03

Digestion and nutrition

Symptoms, tolerance, habits and their relationship with the complete clinical context.

04

Sleep and recovery

Rest quality, rhythms, load and capacity to adapt.

05

Hormonal transitions

Changes requiring medical assessment, careful interpretation and specialist coordination.

06

Personalised prevention

Realistic decisions based on risk, history, function and personal goals.

Versions

The same wide view.
Different starting points.

Everyone arrives with a different history and different needs. This is how the assessment is shaped.

A broad consultation
does not replace a specialist.

Integrative medicine helps frame the case and coordinate it. When cardiology, orthopaedics, PNI, physiotherapy or another specialty is needed, the case is referred or managed jointly.

ETRYUM does not propose alternatives to conventional medicine or promise outcomes. Every professional works within their clinical scope.

Does integrative medicine replace my doctor or specialist?

No. It can help organise the case, complete an assessment and coordinate disciplines. Specific diagnosis and treatment always belong to the appropriate licensed professional.

Do I need tests before the consultation?

No. Bring any recent reports and results you already have. Additional testing is considered only after deciding whether it can change a clinical decision.

Are supplements recommended to everyone?

No. Supplementation is not automatic or central to the approach. It is considered only when individually indicated, with a safety review and full account of medication.

Can I attend without a diagnosis?

Yes. You can come with symptoms, a complex history or a preventive goal. The initial assessment will help identify the most appropriate investigation or professional.

How does the team coordinate?

With your consent, relevant professionals share the information they need, agree priorities and avoid duplicated advice or isolated treatment.
